Rasheed Wallace, never one to be bashful, is setting a standard for his new team ? the Boston Celtics ? that seems completely unattainable. He thinks they can make a run at the Chicago Bulls' 72-win season.

Wallace: Oh definitely. Definitely, playing with those three other guys, also combining that with the guys we have on the bench, I think we definitely can. Me personally, I think we can get that Bulls record. You know we have the talent for it. We have the will for it and ... I think we have the defense for it.

[Thomas Halzack]: Do you want me to use that?

Wallace: You can. Because honestly, I really do feel that. That was a good team. They had some HOFs on there, but we have a few on this team, too.

If we're doing an over/under on 72 ? with how competitive the Eastern Conference could be ? go ahead and give me the under for the Celtics.

Boston is possibly a solid 65 win team, but that's it.

Boston will struggle to win 55 games, book it.

Allen is old, Garnett is getting old, Sheed isnt what he used to be, Pierce is aging fast, Rondo is emerging, but they wont make the Finals nor be a serious threat in the East

Gotta argue that one as they were pretty much there last year without Wallace and Garnett. Now injuries can screw them just about like anybody else, but they should be right there.
